TSUNAGU 3 – The Grand Finale!
更新日:7月25日
After arriving late at night in Osaka, the TSUNAGU 3 boys enjoyed a well-deserved, slightly restful morning to recharge their batteries before diving straight into the next exciting leg of their journey!
High-Energy Training with Kandai Hokuyo High School
Once refreshed and energized, our first destination was Kandai Hokuyo High School. Known as one of Osaka’s volleyball powerhouses with a top 4 ranking in the prefecture and frequent appearances in the Kinki Regional Tournament, their program boasts around 40 dedicated athletes. Practicing alongside players of their own age brought an incredible surge of energy to the court. It didn't take long for the boys to bond - volleyball once again proved to be a universal language that instantly bridges cultures and builds lasting friendships!
Bright Lights and Big Smiles in Dotonbori

After a hard-working session on the court, it was time to experience Osaka’s legendary nightlife! The boys headed out to explore the vibrant Dotonbori district. From enjoying some local shopping to striking poses in front of the world-famous neon signs, everyone had a blast soaking in the energetic atmosphere of the city.
Elite Sessions with Osaka Bluteon Academy
The excitement continued the following day with a scrimmage and practice session with Osaka Bluteon Academy! Osaka Bluteon (formerly the Panasonic Panthers) is a giant in Japanese volleyball, holding 8 top-tier national league titles. Their academy is dedicated to nurturing future SV League stars and international athletes through top-class youth programs.
After joining the academy players on the court, the boys were treated to something special: a private practice with the Head Coach of the Bluteon Academy alongside the Bluteon U18 team! They went back to the absolute fundamentals, diving deep into proper body movement, positioning, and mechanical efficiency. It was an invaluable masterclass in precision and court awareness.
Back to Tokyo & The Final Farewell
With their skills leveled up, it was time to head back to Tokyo for the final chapter of our tour. The boys enjoyed exploring the iconic streets of Shibuya and taking in the rich history of Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa.
They also had one last incredible opportunity to test their growth in a practice session with Tama University Meguro High School. Well-known for its strong academic and athletic programs, as well as its rich tradition in Tokyo high school sports, training with their dedicated team provided another invaluable experience.
And then came the moment we all knew was coming: the Farewell. Looking at these boys, it’s hard to believe they had only met one week ago. In just a few short days, they built bonds so deep and genuine that they feel like lifelong brothers. Through the power of volleyball, this connection will only continue to grow stronger, no matter how many miles lie between them.
