This winter, we are proud to welcome Beavers Volleyball Club back to Chicago for their fourth consecutive year, while also expanding our international exchange to host Osaka Bluteon in California.

Building global bridges through sport allows young athletes to gain valuable technical skills, cultural perspective, and character development on and off the court. To help make these international opportunities possible for every participant, we invite our community to support them through our fundraiser.

Expanding Horizons Through International Exchange

International exchange brings a unique dimension to player development. By interacting with teams from Japan, our athletes experience different styles of play, communication, and sportsmanship.

Beavers Volleyball Club was established in 1980 and remains one of Japan's most respected youth volleyball programs. Alumni include Japan National Team setter Masahiro Sekita. Playing alongside visiting Japanese athletes gives local participants a fresh perspective on fundamentals and team dynamics.

Additionally, hosting Osaka Bluteon (formerly Panasonic Panthers), a top-tier professional volleyball club playing in Japan's SV.LEAGUE, offers our community direct exposure to high-level training methods.

How Your Contributions Help

Organizing international sports exchanges requires thoughtful coordination and community backing. Every contribution supports the core operational needs of these programs.

All proceeds from the fundraiser are dedicated to:

  • Travel and ground transportation for visiting and participating athletes

  • Local hosting expenses and facility rental fees in Chicago and California

  • Program operation costs

By contributing, you are making these valuable experiences possible for participating athletes.

How to Support: Fundraiser Gear

Purchasing gear is a simple way to contribute to our fundraiser.

Our campaign features items generously donated by Japan National Team libero Manami Kojima, as well as official apparel from Osaka Bluteon.

Every item purchased directly funds travel and operational expenses for our visiting athletes. Whether you are an athlete, parent, or supporter, picking up gear is a meaningful way to stay connected with our community and back our players.

Be a Part of the Bridge

International exchange gives kids something they carry with them long after the games are over: new friends, new perspectives, and confidence on and off the court. Grab a shirt, share this post with a friend, or pass it on to your teammates. Every bit helps us welcome our friends from Japan this winter.
