We have officially reached the grand finale of TSUNAGU 4! After our incredible journey through Osaka, Nagoya, and Kyoto, our girls returned to Japan's bustling capital, Tokyo, for the final and unforgettable chapter of the tour. This final leg was a beautifully packed adventure that brought our volleyball journey to its ultimate peak.
Elite Training in the Capital: Facing Tokyo’s High School Powerhouses
In Tokyo, our volleyball journey reached a brilliant finish as we had the immense privilege of sharing the court and training alongside three of the city's most respected high school powerhouses:
Tokyo High School: Known for its rich athletic history and elite sports programs, training with their talented squad pushed our girls to match their rapid pace and exceptional court discipline.
Jissen Gakuen High School: A powerhouse program known for developing intelligent players with fierce competitive spirits. Our girls learned so much from their tactical smarts, sharp teamwork, and relentless defense.
Tokyo Seitoku High School: Renowned for their incredible technique and strong volleyball traditions. Practicing with them allowed our girls to refine their own fundamentals and experience the beautiful precision of Japanese high school volleyball.
Through these joint sessions, our girls didn't just sharpen their skills—they grew immensely in confidence, learned to communicate across languages on the court, and experienced the true meaning of international sportsmanship.
Exploring Tokyo: Bright Lights & Gacha Adventures!
Alongside our intense court sessions, the girls fully immersed themselves in the vibrant energy of the city.
Even on a hot summer day, nothing could stop our girls from having the time of their lives! We explored the famous Takeshita Street in Harajuku, where the girls absolutely fell in love with a local Gacha Shop. They spent over an hour laughing, trading, and collecting fun Japanese capsule toys - it was the perfect way to make some classic Tokyo memories and bond even closer as a team. From walking through historic districts to marveling at the bustling metropolis, Tokyo gave us the perfect highlights for this chapter of our journey.
A Journey of Growth—Thank You, TSUNAGU 4!
What a deeply fulfilling journey it has been from start to finish. Over the past couple of weeks, these girls have trained under national coaches, practiced at professional V-League facilities, connected deeply through cultural exchange, and tested their limits against Tokyo’s elite.
They return home not just as better volleyball players, but as more globally-minded young women with friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
